Can I install a stairlift regardless of the staircase's width?
You can install a Stannah stairlift on any straight, narrow or curved staircase. The stairs only need to be 65 cm wide.
Can I install a stairlift on narrow stairs?
Yes. Most staircases are wide enough to install a stairlift. Our technicians will identify the best place to park the stairlift, so it doesn’t get in the way of people who prefer to use stairs.
Can I install a stairlift by myself?
A stairlift is a piece of mobility equipment. So unless you are a technician trained to install Stannah stairlifts, you should not install them yourself.
