Funding and grant schemes for stairlifts in Israel
People whose mobility issues have been formally recognized by a medical institution may benefit from the assistance of the HMO clinic. If this is your case, the HMO can help you apply for funding schemes offered by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Housing so you can adapt your home and improve your living conditions with a mobility device. The HMO will conduct a home visit and assess your situation and mobility needs, since in order to be eligible to receive funding you will be subject to different criteria, such as an assessment of your economic situation and your mobility needs.
The Ministry of Defense and the IDF Disabled Persons Association may also provide funding to buy mobility devices if you’re formally recognized as someone living with a permanent disability and meet all other necessary criteria.
